My Recent 4 Link Project (in early 2016) for the rear... Lots of work and time and tired bones. Worth it? 100%
Las Cruces - 12-26-2015 Down the Old Amatista Ledges across the Amatista Ledges bottom and up Big Jim.
Fairplay, CO. July, 20014 Mosquito Pass & Wheeler Lake
March & April of 2014 Replaced the engine with another AMC 360. Its bored 30 over with an RV cam, upgraded springs and stainless push rods, its rated at 310hp. Also had my 727 auto completely rebuilt, only the case is being re-used. 100% of the "hard parts" have been replaced.
At the end of summer 2012 I finally snapped an axle shaft in my rear Dana-60. So I've upgraded to a GM 14 bolt rear. Also changed tires again and went back to a radial, 40" Nitto Mud Grappler Extreme Terrain tires. I like them .
Las Cruces, NM end of March 2013 First two are in my drive way right after finishing putting in the 14Bolt rear and mounting new beadlocks and Extreme Terrain 40's.
Poachers Loop, Granite, CO June 2012
Near the end of Poachers Loop out of Granite, CO. This is right after I cut my rear flares in half and removed the slider bars from the front fenders. Just another new look.
After splitting one of these tread to rim on literally the 3rd trail they ever saw I sold the MT/R's and bead-locks. Went to Maxis Creepy Crawlers.
Spring Creek July '11
After almost 2 years of basically sitting, the next evolution is starting. The full roll cage is gone, replaced by a Half-Cab/Bulkhead & stock roll bar... As you can see in the pictures below I custom fit some TJ door uppers, with new skins, to fit the CJ and the CJ8 half cab. You just have to cut of and re-weld the guide/holding pins a little, then they fit fairly OK. More pictures to come!
With the new 42's and new bead locks

360 Going In
On the trail after the last major build up, w/42" TSL's.
Loading to go run a trail... And out on a trail...
I added a Dana 60 front axle w/42" TSL's. Front fenders, Poison Spider rear body armor & the flares I made. I had the tube bent for me and I welded them on and skinned them. Pretty time consuming but worth it. Should not have made them so wide :-/.
Some major mods... In my garage!
I welded in a full Roll Cage. The front was for a CJ-7 with longer bars and I made the rear from a CJ-7 main hoop and dom tubing. Then I took it to the Colorado 4 Wheel Drive & Off Road Expo with the paint on the cage still tacky. In-door wheeling was fun. I snapped an axel shaft and got a nice cheer from around 300 or so people.
Moab, UT
With 39.5 Irok's, full width Dana 60 rear and 44 front with a Detroit in the rear and OX locker in the front. I liked the OX.

The first 4in lift with 33in ProComp M/T's. It came with a hard top but I didnt like it off road, it flexed to much but I very much like the look of it. I had the soft top made from a new CJ-7 top and an upholstery shop made the back for me.
Bill Moore Lake - Near Empire, CO
This is what it started out as and was very nice. It has changed quite a bit but I have enjoyed it very much in each stage.
